My plans fell through. π’ I still have a Willie Nelson costume _and_ a doctor costume in reserve for next year.

We left a candy bowl outside and it was empty by the time the trick or treating hours were done.

Success! π I’m curious about your blog. I was a sports writer in high school too.

I started my blog because I wanted to write about baseball news. I got help from a lot of people. Even the Phillies sportswriters and Ethan Witte (The Good Phight Blog Lord) advised me to start writing a blog. You were a sports writer in high school? Thatβs cool! For what team? Do you actually know any of the MLB baseball sportswriters?

That’s amazing! You’re way ahead of the game (so to speak)! I can’t wait to see how this interest unfolds for you.
Yeah, I wrote about sports in high school, but that was before blogs, so my platform was the next best thing: the school newspaper. I wrote monthly editorials about how sports related to life more broadly, and I tried to be funny about it. π€·π»ββοΈ
I loved playing baseball back then and still play with my friends when I get back to the old neighborhood.
How do you keep busy now that the World Series is over?

I keep busy by I keep writing on my blog. I try to find news from the Phillies sportswriters and then I make my own blog articles. Sometimes I will even reference them because I get my ideas from them. Like the article I wrote about the magical season the Phillies had, I actually got that idea from Ethan Witte. Todayβs article that I wrote I got the inspiration from an article that Todd Zolecki wrote. I get a lot of my inspiration for blog articles from the sportswriters. I read a lot of Phillies news from reading articles that Todd Zolecki, Ethan Witte, Matt Gelb, Allie Foster, Alex Coffey, Destiny Lugardo, and Brian Mcquilkin put out. These people inspire me!
